How do Evangelical Christians reconcile with Zionism given that the latter rejects the Lord Jesus?
Q. I have a query about Evangelical Christians and their attitude to the Jewish religion. I do support and respect Israel as a state and a nation. But as far as I know that the Jewish religion and sacred texts reject Jesus altogether as a false prophet. How do we reconcile that with the Evangelical Christian support of Zionism? How can an Evangelical or a Baptist be a Christian and also against Christ? Am I missing something?

what is the difference between lutheran and the Evangelical or babtist religion?
Q. My boy friend is lutheran, and i go to an evangelical covenant church and i don't understand the difference between them is there any at all? they both belive in God and that he died for our sins but is there any big difference?

A. If the evangelical covenant church you go to IS a Baptist church, then there are some differences. Yes, you both believe in God and that Jesus died for our sins, but the differences are in method of worship and some of the rules of living. Lutherans are a little more conservative than the Baptist church, they have formalized worship services like that of a Catholic church, basically a lot of corporate prayer and recitation. They also use real wine for the eucharist/mass (communion or Lord's supper) instead of grape juice, and it's done every week instead of just a few times a year. They also baptize people as a baby and then at age 13 they go through "confirmation" class and then profess they believe in Jesus at the end of the class in… [cont.]

Q. Please recommend an evangelical Christian College in England that can provide a correspondence course or one that I can study online via the internet. I would like one that is affordable and offers quality recognized accredited qualifications to bachelor level.

A. One suggestion would be the Midlands Bible College ( who offer an excellent theological education. They are a christian college in England but accept students worldwide. Most students are from the UK with many from the US. It is a good option for people looking for certificate or diploma but you can take as few or as many modules as you like, so it's flexible enough for lay persons or for those looking to get into church leadership or have ministry training. Their courses are well taught and accredited by the University of Wales, Lampeter, who are the third oldest university in England and Wales so graduates can attain a very well recognised and highly regarded degree.
