William Franklin "Billy" Graham, Jr., KBE (born November 7, 1918) is a Christian evangelist and an Evangelical Christian. He has been a spiritual adviser to many United States presidents and is number seven on Gallup's list of admired people for the 20th century. He is a Southern Baptist. He rose to celebrity status as his sermons were broadcast on radio and television. Graham has preached in person to more people around the world than any other preacher in history. According to his staff, as of 1993 more than 2.5 million people had "stepped forward at his crusades to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior". As of 2008, Graham's lifetime audience, including radio and television broadcasts, topped 2.2 billion. From Wikipedia under the

Why do fundies hate popular preachers? Q. Jesus said that a man cannot divorce his wife except for unfaithfulness. If another man marries the divorced woman he commits adultery which was explicitly forbidden by the ten commandments. Why do evangelists who condemn homosexuality don't condemn those who marry the divorced? There are 50% marriage failures in our country and 80% of the United States is Christian. I think they are afraid to offend the congregation. But inconsiderately they want Joel Osteen and Billy Graham to denounce gayness. Since Osteen and Graham have large congregations and thus a higher probability of having gays, I think it's inconsiderate.
